The Black Minds Matter Coalition is a community of educational scholars, educators and leaders that actively seek to improve the experience of Black children and youth in school. BMMC has an intentional focus on the disproportionate use of exclusionary discipline (e.g., expulsions, suspensions, seclusions, restraints) against Black students of all genders.
